I decided to get with the times and buy my own digital camera, instead of settling on poor-quality phone-camera photos. I waited anxiously, and when a box arrived at the office, I was confused – it was really big for such a small apparatus! So, expecting tons of styrofoam peanuts to spill out, I opened the box and found……..nothing!! Someone had stolen the contents, or so I thought, until I looked closer and started digging into the interior bottom cardboard layer, under which a smaller box was wedged (still no packing material!) Not sure why the camera was shipped in such a large carton, especially with everything being made smaller and smaller in today’s technological and eco-conscious world — now I just have to manage the large user’s manual!
